Rick Brown says its time to blow up the organization.
On Piniella:
He knows what it takes to win. Yet there's nothing he's ever going to be able to accomplish with the way the organization is currently being run.
On Lamar:
LaMar was successful as director of scouting and player development, then assistant general manager for player personnel for the Atlanta Braves, in that team's heydays. LaMar has made some solid picks with the Rays -- Carl Crawford, B.J. Upton, Rocco Baldelli and Delmon D. Young. Yet, because his hands are tied because of the budget, there's not much more he can do. It's time for him to move on as well
He seems open to trades of Huff among others:
The team needs to maintain a core of players and jettison the rest. Hire a manager who's young, energetic and can grow with the team. Find owners who come up with a plan and follow it.
