I cant decide if Jaret Wright or Carl Pavano has been the bigger bust with the Yankees this year. Those contracts are going to hurt for a while. It a case of trying to compete when your farm system is just flat out running out of MLB ready players. They just don't have any depth in pitching farm system anymore.
On the other side of the dugout, Rays talent in pitching ranks lies pretty much in the low minor league levels. We might see Seddon and Hammel before the year is out from high minors. I like the pitching talent in Hudson Valley, but my favorite up and coming pitcher is Andy Sonnanstine.
Lets see if Rays can shut down streaking Yankees.
