-It was a losing day for the Devil Rays organization, as every team from the major league ballclub on down to Single A lost their Saturday contests by a combined score of 30-11.

Games Notes-All four Ottawa runs came home on a Brandon Marsters grand slam...Baldelli is hitting an even .500 with a 1.056 OPS after eight at bats in Durham...Witt is hitting .322 with a .961 OPS, and leads the league in both SLG% and his 12th home run gives him a commanding league lead...Rivas made his playing debut yesterday for Durham, and is hitting .286 in two games...Before the game, Mike Prochaska was called up from Double A Montgomery to make a start in place of scheduled starter Jamie Shields, who was called up when Rays LH Casey Fossum was placed on the Disabled List, however Prochaska ended up arriving late, and Shields had to work two innings...Of the five hits Prochaska gave up, four were for extra bases; three doubles and a round-tripper...The game was played in front of 10,080 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
