-It might be Memorial Day, but only the major league squad got the day off, as all Rays affiliates were in action today, though three of them lost.

Game Notes-Both Durham runs came on solo HRs...Former Rays spring training invitee Fernando Tatis, now in the Baltimore organization, went 2 for 4 with a strikeout for Ottawa...Lynx 2B Howie Clark hit the Game-Winning Home Run in the top of the ninth inning of of Bulls reliever Jeff Ridgway.

Game Notes-Dodgers prospect Andy LaRoche had an absolute whale of a ballgame for the Suns, going 3 for 4 with two runs scored, a solo HR, and two RBI...Another Dodger prospect, 2B Tony Abreu, went 0 for 3 with a run scored, an RBI, a walk, and a strikeout...Yet another Dodger prospect, Justin Orenduff, took the mound for Jacksonville, picking up the win by going six innings while giving up three runs (all earned) on five hits while walking two and striking out four, he also threw two wild pitches...With the loss, the Biscuits are now 3.5 games back of Jacksonville in the SL South first half title race, and the Suns have won eight straight.

Game Notes-SW Michigan amassed  just four hits on the day..Just 732 fans showed up at C.O. Brown Stadium; does anyone know why this team is moving?...The M-Rays are last as a team in the MWL in AVG, OBP, SLG%, OPS, TB, RBI, HR, 2B, Hits, and Runs, but their pitchers are first in the league in strikeouts and are in the top half of nearly every other pitching category.
