The Chicago Cubs have signed UTL INF Tomas Perez to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training. I read this and it didn't even phase me, it's like when you hear that Nook Logan will start in CF for the Nationals....at first you're kinda "What in the...." then it hits you....Bowden + Lamar = Nook Logan in CF, Guzman at SS.
Same thing here, it's Jim Hendry, I almost expected this, if I were told Hendry signed Meadows to a 2 year deal, it wouldn't phase me...
