Fred McGriff is back with the organization after signing on today to become a 'coach' in spring training, and a PR guy the rest of the time. As Jake joked earlier, "Is he going to bring Tom Emanski to teach our guys how to hit / throw?"
If / when McGriff gets the HOF bid you've got to wonder if he would choose the Rays hat (rather than the 500 others) for his plaque. Of course my money would be on the Braves cap, but perhaps living in the area, working for the team, and maybe Sternberg floating some cash...okay nevermind, let's just hope he doesn't wear that blue cap from the commercials.
