Sunday Morning News and Notes

It's good to see the Trib playing to the hometown fans, anyhow Topkin provided another column and only a few things stood out.

The Rays are reducing the capacity of the Trop to under 40,000 by putting tarps over the several rows of bleacher seats at the top of the upper deck, ostensibly for aesthetics. The tarps won't come off even if there are big crowds.
The over/under betting line for wins this season is 67, according to the Las Vegas Hilton.
The Rays are looking into lowering the height of the leftfield wall at the Trop, creating the possibility of more acrobatic, home-run stealing catches by LF Carl Crawford

So basically we're going Oakland with the tarps, I'll take the over on the wins, and it looks like we're trying the Torii Hunter special with CC's highlights, interesting. Oh and the Trop is getting a new hotdog.
