Elijah Dukes reached on an error that allowed Delmon Young to score and that would be all the Rays would need, holding the Jays to seven hits with no runs.
Casey Fossum went five, allowing five hits, walking one, and striking three out, Al Reyes pitched for the second straight day and looked great, Scott Dohmann had a 1-2-3 inning, as did Chad Orvella, and Gary Glover closed the ninth down after a strikeout, hit, and double play.
The team is now 9-17-1 on the exhibition season.
