BREAKING: Wade Davis Pitches No-Hitter for Vero Beach

Breaking news coming in to DRaysBay headquarters, where we have learned that Vero Beach starting pitcher Wade Davis has consummated a seven inning no-hitter against the Jupiter Hammerheads. The game, shortened as minor league games are in double-headers, came over seven innings of work. The V-Rays had the only three hits of the game, with all but one coming in the top of the seventh, when they scored three runs to win the ballgame and earn Davis a win. Davis walked just one batter in the outing, while striking out six. Further details on the Rays' first organizational no-hitter since last August will be available later tonight in the Minor League Minute.
