Win, Sweet Win

Rays look to take the series tonight against 55 million dollar man Gil Meche; Andrew Sonnanstine will oppose.

Delmon Young has back to back three hit games, and perhaps more interestingly, is the most 'clutch' player on the team, from The Hardball Times:

Clutch (Link)
"Clutch" is the name we've given to the portion of Bill James's Runs Created formula that includes the impact of a batter's batting average with runners in scoring position and the number of home runs with runners on. The specific formula is Hits with RISP minus overall BA times at bats with RISP, plus HR with runners on minus (all HR/AB) times at bats with runners on. This stat is not a definitive description of "clutch hitting," just one way of looking at it.

Delmon is first with a rating of six, B.J. Upton and Josh Paul tie for second with 1.6 rating; you can see the entire list here, but what's more interesting to me is that the largely described as 'clutch' Ty Wigginton is dead last with a negative eight reading.
