This Should Be Fun

B.J. Upton is incredibly selfish and needs a reality check. Little Fernando Perez is our center fielder now and Upton can sit the bench. That or he can move to right field. But he's selfish, so he would never move, right?

Rays manager Joe Maddon said he spoke with Upton on Thursday about the possibility of inserting the outfielder into right field until his legs are back to full throttle.

Upton is "not opposed" to the idea which is encouraging. Perez' defense has been stellar thus far, even better than Upton's, and a potential Crawford/Perez/Upton outfield should make our pitchers very, very happy.
