So, Minor League Defensive Stats

Hat tip to Jason Collette (obligatory FanBall mention) for alerting me that Minor League Splits now has limited minor league defensive data. It's based on the Total Zone system, but I glanced over a few Rays pages and here are the results. Take them with a grain of salt.

Averages since 2005/6:

CF Fernando Perez 11 runs

SS Reid Brignac 8.25 runs

CF Desmond Jennings 6 runs

Neither of those three seem outlandish. If Brignac really in the 5 < x > 10 defensive range I think his stock raises. Also: Durham is killing Perez' average.
