2009 Outlook Paragraph
To me at least, the 2009 White Sox are a bit of a conundrum. They are built to compete this year in some places, but seem to be hanging by a thread. As Jermaine Dye, Paul Konerko, Jim Thome, and Mark Buehrle go so will this White Sox team, to a certain extent. They also are depending on young players across the rest of the diamond. Underachieving ex-prospects will be relied on at 3B and CF, and resurrected prospects will hope to repeat there breakouts last year. The back-end of the rotation is filled with question marks, but the bullpen should be good. This team could win some ball games or be out of it by the trade-deadline and have a massive fire sale. In the AL Central, though, who knows what will happen.
