Interesting, insightful comment from Randy Choate, who is trying to make the team as a reliever and was plowing through the Twilight series in the clubhouse. He said he was holding off on seeing the movie because he doesn’t want to spoil the characters as he’s visualized them in his head while reading the books.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with our back-up LOOGY enjoying a good novel about vampire and romance. Of course, the operative word there is "good". Anything Twilight related probably shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as "good", unless it comes in the form of: "Good grief, this book is horrible."
Even so, I still hope Choate makes an appearance for the Rays, because holy crap do we need a reason to start mentioning vampires and baseball in the same breath.
