Things to watch: Evan Longoria didn't make the trip today as initially thought. He will join Team USA some time today and go through workouts tomorrow. The Rays lineup features half regulars and half NRIs.
Matt Garza makes his third appearance. Garza looked much better the second time out. Also appearing will be Jeff Niemann, who as Joe Maddon said yesterday, is still in the competition for 5th starter. To this point, Niemann has outperformed Jason Hammel, but coming into the week most felt Hammel was still the leader. However, given Hammel's shakey performance this week, another strong performance by Niemann will make things really interesting.
