Things to wach: A good performance today from Jason Hammel could end the fifth starter competition. Joe Maddon has expressed an interest in naming a fifth stater this week and it still looks like Hammel is the favorite. David Price made a late charge yesterday, but is still more likely to be headed to Durham than the opening day roster.
Pat Burrell with get a start in left field, the position he's played almost his whole career. Burrell is starting in LF to give Matt Joyce a chance to get some more ABs for the Rays at DH.
