Update on the Library

Since the Sabermetrics Library is connected with this site, I figured I'd drop a quick update on how things have been evolving over there.  It's only been a week since the Library was released, but a lot has changed already.  Almost all of the statistic pages are now finished (with SwgSt% to be added soon) and Graham from Lookout Landing has graciously allowed me to expand the "Saber Principles" section using his Sabermetrics 101 series.  I've also added pages discussing splitsprojection systemsminor league equivalencies, and sample sizes.

Also, I have added a free online course to the website.  The course is aimed at people new to advanced baseball analysis that don't know where to start, so please take a peek and let me know what you think (even if you're a hardened saber junkie).  All it takes to view the course is an email address, so I hope that doesn't deter anyone.

Thanks to everyone that took the time to contribute feedback about the Library.  It wouldn't have been created if it weren't from the ideas generated by our readers, and it's a better site today because of the comments I've received.  Just like the Library, this course is an open resource that is open to suggestions and changes, so please keep the feedback coming.

Edit: Also, the Saber Library can now boast pages for Batting AverageWins, and Grit, three things I'm sure you were all waiting for with bated breath. Courtesy of FireJoeMorgan.com.
