That thread got a bit out of hand, so a couple reminders: no politics and keep the conversation on topic in front-page threads. I let that thread slide because it seemed like we had some good discussion going at first, but it spiraled away into goodness knows where.
In the future, let's try to move conversations like that to the OTTOTD early on. I'll also try and be better about prompting/enforcing that.
