Smell that? You smell that?

What?

New AstroTurf, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that.

I love the smell of AstroTurf on Opening Day. The smell, you know that fresh scent of synthetic grass. It smells like...victory.

It has been 170 days since the Rays last stepped onto Tropicana Field to play a regular season or post-season game. Since then, the building is the same, but the turf is new, some faces in the lineup are new, and the bullpen is nearly as new as the playing surface.

As this season starts, we thought it would be a good idea to survey the staff as well as a few mystery media members (the names hidden to protect the innocent) to see where everyone stood on the season. Tomorrow, we will post the results to these same questions as provided by you, the readers.
