The Rays have won 4 in row and the only thing standing in their way for a 5th straight is Scott Baker, Rays killer. Well, he's not Cy Young against us, but he has a sub 3.50 ERA in his past appearances against us. Precision-based soft-tossers seem to always destroy our Friedmanesque lineups.

Anyway, the Rays will send discombobulated starter Jeff Niemann to the mound. Earlier today, Collette looked at Niemann and said, uh oh. I think a lot of reflect that sentiment. And if Niemann on the mound doesn't scare you, then just wait for the offensive powah! of today's starting first baseman: Casey Kotchman, ladies and gentleman! Your hometown hero!

But seriously, the Rays have had some great breaks over the last few days, which is about da-yum time. Hopefully that continues today and we get to start thinking about the "sw-" word.

ALSO: We have four tickets available to our event tomorrow at Fergs/The Trop with Jonah Keri. If you haven't already, sign up HERE

Today's lineup:

Sam Fuld, LF
Johnny Damon DH
Matt Joyce, RF
Felipe Lopez, 3B
Ben Zobrist, 2B
B.J. Upton, CF
Casey Kotchman, 1B
John Jaso, C
Reid Brignac, SS

Oh yeah, no Joe Mauer (DL), no Jim Thome (old man) today. Hopefully Niemann can take advantage.
