UPDATE: This Saturday - June 11th - is the final day to buy tickets. Go get one!
Remember, you need a BPro ticket to get into the event. A regular game ticket won't cut it.
Every season, Baseball Prospectus does several ballpark events around the league and they have chosen Tropicana Field to make their 2011 debut! Andrew Friedman, Chaim Bloom, and James Click have all spoken at past events and this year, we have a commitment from Bloom (Assistant Director of Minor League Operations) to attend and speak to the audience as well as field questions from them.
Here are all of the details you need to know:
Date: June 18th
When: 5:10 PM
Where: Conference room in Tropicana Field (enter at Gate 4, find Baseball Prospectus table)
What's involved:
- Admittance to a private "meet and greet" with special guests and Baseball Prospectus personalities two hours prior to game time
- A 60-90 minute Q/A session with baseball operations personnel from the Rays
- Baseline box seats (Section 131) to watch the Rays play the Marlins with other Baseball Prospectus fans and staff as well as the free (yet to be announced) post-game concert.
- A $15 coupon to be used toward a new Baseball Prospectus Premium subscription or to renew your current subscription as well as a few other door prizes.
