The Tampa Bay Rays conducted their annual rookie hazing last night after their thrilling win over the Boston Red Sox, and may I just say, the Green Monster paled in comparison to the stunning beauty of this dance routine.
David Price tweeted a video of the rookie performance of "Call Me Maybe" - complete with leotards, wigs, cat calls, coordinated dance moves, and some gymnastics. Desmond Jennings even does a backflip!

Fenway has played host to many memories, but none quite so ... revealing as this. Rays players and media took to twitter soon after, sharing pictures of the festivities. A few favorites:
- Sean Rodriguez: "Check these lovely ladies out."

- Chris Gimenez: "The Green MONSTER never looked so good!!!!"

- And this gem from Matt Moore, which I will not subject your eyes to unwillingly.
Now in case you are wondering who exactly was involved, Topkin is on the case:
The group included Matt Moore, Stephen Vogt, Brandon Gomes, Chris Archer, Dane De La Rosa, Jose Lobaton, Rich Thompson, Alex Cobb, Desmond Jennings and Jake McGee. The whole experience was organized by James Shields, who decided to include the additional players with less than a full year in the majors at the start of the season.
He got the outfits from On Pointe Dancewear on Central Ave. in St. Pete, and got choreography help from Annie Meier.
