In lieu of an actual write up I present you a bunch of links. Consider this your usual morning open thread.

Links:

-We always praise Jeff Keppinger for his contact skills, but Marco Scutaro is the current king of that game as Jeff Sullivan explains.

-This FanGraphs Q&A with Roy Oswalt was excellent.

-I always enjoy looking at the home run trot times. For September 5th Miguel Cabrera got around the bases in 25.29 seconds. The exuberant Bryce Harper booked it to the tune of 18.32.

-David Schoenfield ranks his most exciting players in baseball every year starting with 1976. How Jose Molina didn't top the list for 2012 is beyond me.

-MLB.com's Jonathan Mayo released his top 20 Rays prospects. Hak Ju Lee tops the list with 2011 first rounder Taylor Guerrieri coming in second.

-Mark Reynolds has no more use for his bat, as you can see here.
