Why did we ever agree on not playing baseball for like six months? Wasn't that a stupid decision?

So the Toronto Blue Jays just made the bungle of the season -- Jose Reyes is hurt, as expected, but they didn't call up Munenori Kawasaki. For that error, I'm pretty sure they're a sub-.400 team. But let me put it to the crowd. What's the shape of the 2013 Blue Jays?
