What better way could there be to prep for a cow-milking contest, aside from milking an actual cow?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Who's the <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Rays&src=hash">#Rays</a> participant for <a href="https://twitter.com/Angels">@Angels</a> annual cow-milking contest tomorrow? <a href="https://twitter.com/DAVIDprice14">@DAVIDprice14</a> is already practicing. <a href="http://t.co/7eMBbCbFPl">pic.twitter.com/7eMBbCbFPl</a></p>— Tampa Bay Rays (@RaysBaseball) <a href="https://twitter.com/RaysBaseball/statuses/467086892693876737">May 15, 2014</a></blockquote>

Thanks to Marc Topkin, your curiosity is remedied with a picture of what Zobrist’s thumb looked like yesterday.

Ben Zobrist was placed on the 15-Day DL and replaced with Cole Figueroa.
Alex Cobb will be making his rehab start on Saturday in Port Charlotte for the Stonecrabs. Oh, and it’s superhero night at the ballpark as well. The Rays need a hero back in their rotation, so here’s hoping everything goes smooth for Cobb!
If you’re looking for some live baseball to watch tonight with a chance to snag a game used jersey, the Stonecrabs will be auctioning off their pink jerseys in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. If you bid on Josh Sale’s, make sure to purchase it with quarters! (But, please don't throw them at the auctioneer.)

To relive last night's walk-off loss to the Angels, head on over to Brett's recap. He counters the agony with some humor and tons of GIFs.
If you want to hear Grant Balfour's thoughts on being pulled last night, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times has provided video of his commentary. Take a listen below.

-Over at FanGraphs, Jeff Sullivan shows how David Price stacks up against other pitchers with called third strikes since his return from the DL last year. Spoiler alert: Price leads the league.
-Sullivan also highlighted just how long the Rays games have been so far this year.
-Heath Bell is drawing interest from four different teams (HUH?), including the Orioles and Mariners.
-Jose Fernandez’s Tommy John surgery is set for this morning.
-Not only did Derek Jeter receive a cake from the Mets that was made by the Cake Boss, but the Mets also presented him with a really neat piece of art made completely of subway tiles.

-The newest X-Men movie comes out next week, and a new clip was released which shows Magneto uprooting a baseball stadium that is not the Trop, so no "relocate the Rays, literally" jokes can be made once the movie is released. Phew.
-Just missed #TBT, but we’ll go with ‘Flashback Friday’ as Cut4 shows us video from the 1939 Hall of Fame Induction weekend where you’ll see faces like Babe Ruth, Cy Young and Honus Wagner, among others.
