It appears as if one rehab game was enough for Ben Zobrist, as the Rays flew him up to Boston yesterday to rejoin the team for the series against the Red Sox.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Rays&src=hash">#Rays</a> apparently convinced Zobrist is ready to go, won't play for <a href="https://twitter.com/StoneCrabs">@StoneCrabs</a> tonight, is on his way to Boston</p>— Marc Topkin (@TBTimes_Rays) <a href="https://twitter.com/TBTimes_Rays/statuses/472090945983614976">May 29, 2014</a></blockquote>

In order to make room for Zobrist on the 25-man roster, the Rays optioned Cole Figueroa to Durham. No more figgy pudding for a while.
The Rays added some new items to their online auctions, including a Brad Boxberger spring training jersey which is currently at a $70 bid.
Joe Maddon will be co-chairing the fourth annual Tampa Bay Sneaker Soiree on June 18th. Individual tickets will set you back $250 for the event.
