The first day of the major league baseball draft was yesterday. The Rays picked:
- Connor Gillespie, a college bat, with the 20th pick.
- Cameron Varga, a high-school pitcher, with the 60th pick
- Brent Honeywell, a high-school pitcher, with the 72nd pick
Baseball America has a list of the top players left for the second day of the draft.
We'll have a draft thread up a bit before 1:00, because, well, the draft is more fun than the games.
