GDT: Art is weird

I have a friend who is an artist and I called her up the other day to ask if she wanted to watch Shaun of the Dead, perhaps my favorite comedy of the past decade or so. She told me she was busy, in part because she was working on a new project. I asked her what she was doing and she told me that she was dripping blood onto a glass pane. When I pushed the issue she told me that it was a "self portrait" and that she had to get the blood to splatter in a sort of fine mist for it to be acceptable.

There's no really point to this story, I just think that art is crazy and I hope she sells her self portrait for hundreds of dollars, even if it is for a class.
