There is so much news.
Yesterday, Alex Cobb took a no-hitter into the eighth inning before having it broken up by Chris Young. Young then hit a walk-off 3-run homer in the ninth.
En route to blowing the save, Jake McGee his Chase Headley in the jaw with a 98 mph fastball. Looked awful.
Jeter X-ray negative. Headley will se dr to get jaw X-rayed ... Will not leave with team tonight #Yankees

Also yesterday, Giancarlo Stanton was hit in the face by a pitch, and has a fractured jaw.
Despite all of the baseball going on, it was rookie dress up night yesterday. Nintendo characters are tame. They're also not demeaning to anyone, except possibly to Nintendo characters who have been following the play of this team, so I'll take this as a win for good taste.

Today is Nate Karns day. Here is my scouting report from back when he was acquired. He features a good fastball and a great -- and interesting -- curve. Karns has featured a 24.5% K% in the minors this year, but also a too-high 10% BB%.
