Brent Honeywell barely edged out Casey Gillaspie to temporarily take the #8 spot on the prospect list.
1. SS Willy Adames (91.6%)
2. OF Steven Souza (52.6%)
3. RHP Taylor Guerrieri (51.4% in runoff)
4. RHP Alex Colome (68.8%)
5. 2B Ryan Brett (51.2% in runoff)
6. C Justin O'Conner (70%)
7. SS Adrian Rondon (36.6%)
8. RHP Brent Honeywell (31.0%)
However, I think it's likely new shortstop Daniel Robertson bumps a number of these prospects down a spot. That's up to you. Robertson is the only player up for debate in this poll.
I'm asking where he should be placed on this list. If you respond with #1, you're saying he'd go above Willy Adames. If you say #7, he'd be between Justin O'Conner and Adrian Rondon. If you don't think he should be on here, I question your judgment. You're still free to say that though.
SS Daniel Robertson (R/R, 6'0 190, 21 in 2015)
2014 statistics with Class A-Advanced Stockton: .310/.402/.471, 15 HR, 55 XBH, 11.2 BB%, 14.6%
After Addison Russell was traded to the Cubs in the Jeff Samardzija trade, Robertson ascended to the top of A's prospect lists. He doesn't have Russell's athleticism or power potential, but he is a very good prospect. He makes a lot of hard contact with gap-to-gap power. He supplements that with a patient approach at the plate. Staying at shortstop could be dicey, but it's not a certainty he has to change positions. He could play second or third base.
