Rays prospects and minor leagues: Games still happened

Obviously the big news of yesterday was Nate Karns, C.J. Riefenhauser, and Boog Powell being traded to Seattle for 1B Logan Morrison, SS Brad Miller, and RP Danny Farquhar.

Powell was one of my favorite prospects in the Rays system, but he had the misfortune of sitting below a plethora of talented outfielders already in the majors.Seattle GM Jerry Dipoto said his team was going to prioritize athleticism, and Boog had that in spades.

Riefenhauser is still in the Venezuelan League with Margarita, but he will no longer be included in the recaps as you could probably already figure. I liked him as well, but he, like Powell, sits behind a lot of major league talent.
