2015 DRaysBay writer and community prospect list

We wrap up ranking season with a combined list of our writers, community and community friend

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

If you are tired of prospect rankings, you will have to wait one more day. First place earns 30 points, second place earns 29, and so on. To break the ties, I prioritized the player with the lowest standard deviation. If you want to see the individual lists, click on the name. Thanks to Dock of the Rays for allowing us to use his list, and if you want to see a more industry-centric list, head here.

Also receiving votes: Boog Powell (21), Kean Wong (20), Grayson Garvin (18), Richie Shaffer (14), Jaime Schultz (12), Mike Montgomery (7), Andrew Toles (6), Jacob Faria (5), Bralin Jackson (5), Luke Maile (3), Cameron Varga (1)

One thing to note is last season, only seven players also received votes last year. Maybe the difference is just having an additional list, but I will go ahead and attribute it to the improved depth in the system.

Other things of varying importance:

  • Colome and Floro are in identical places as last season's list
  • Williams being in the same spot in the four lists that included him is neat
  • By my count, three players from last year graduated, and 11 are new to the organization
