Drew Smyly makes another rehab start this morning.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (2-3)

Durham's offense was silent in its 3-0 loss to Charlotte. The Bulls had just five hits, all of which were singles. Scott Diamond pitched five scoreless innings in his Rays debut, and all three runs were charged to C.J. Riefenhauser in one inning of work.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (1-4)

Mikey O'Brien's Rays debut was poor in Montgomery's 11-6 loss to Chattanooga. After getting out of a first-inning jam, the wheels came off in a six-run second inning when five runs scored with two outs. O'Brien exited, and Bradin Hagens had to pitch five innings in relief. Justin O'Conner hit a two-run homer in the third inning to get some of those runs back, but Jhan Martinez allowed the Lookouts to tack on some insurance.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (3-2)

Andrew Velazquez's ninth-inning single lifted Charlotte to a 6-5 win over Daytona. The Tortugas intentionally walked Armando Araiza with a runner on third to set up a double play, but pitcher Nolan Becker could not find the strike zone. He walked Braxton Lee to set the stage for Velazquez's big hit. The Stone Crabs initially went up 4-0 in the third inning that included a three-run home run from Jake Bauers. German Marquez, though, struggled in his Charlotte debut, allowing all five Daytona runs -- three earned -- on four hits and two walks with a strikeout. Brad Schreiber and Buddy Borden combined to toss five scoreless innings out of the bullpen.

Class A Bowling Green Hot Rods (1-3)

Bowling Green was postponed.
