After some underwhelming performances, offense has picked up in the system the last couple days

It seems like Durham's bullpen could be in flux all season with the fluid situation the Rays are dealing with.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (4-6)

Durham's bullpen tossed five scoreless innings in the Bulls' 5-3 win over Norfolk. The offense provided Scott Diamond a cushion with a four-run fourth inning, but he had to exit after four. Mikie Mahtook and Joey Butler opened the inning with back-to-back doubles, and Luke Maile later tripled home a pair of runs. After Diamond allowed three in the fourth, Jordan Norberto struck out four in two scoreless frames, and Kirby Yates, Bryce Stowell and Ronald Belisario combined to throw the final three innings.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (3-6)

Daniel Robertson was one of three Biscuits to homer in Montgomery's 12-5 win over Jacksonville. Tyler Goeddel's single gave Montgomery a 1-0 lead in the first, and Johnny Field hit the first of his two dingers three innings later. Tommy Coyle's three-run shot capped a five-run fifth, and Robertson hit his first an inning later. Reinaldo Lopez had a brief outing, allowing five runs in 3 2/3 innings, but Mikey O'Brien picked him up with 4 1/3 scoreless innings.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (6-4)

Charlotte's offense hammered Palm Beach pitching for a second straight day in the Stone Crabs' 11-3 win over the Cardinals. Jake Bauers and Joey Rickard had RBI hits in the first inning, and Maxx Tissenbaum later drove in two on a double. In the ninth, Juniel Querecuto cleared the bases with a double to add even more insurance. With the early support, Jacob Faria cruised through five innings, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks in five innings with five strikeouts.

Class A Bowling Green Hot Rods (4-6)

After allowing a leadoff home run, Henry Centeno settled in for a decent start in Bowling Green's 4-3 win over Lake County. Centeno did allow an unearned run as well in the first, but he retired the last six he faced and 11 of the last 12. The Hot Rods scored two runs apiece in the fifth and sixth innings. A double steal with Thomas Milone and Jace Conrad set up Casey Gillaspie's two-run single, and Cristian Toribio and Milone had RBI hits an inning later.
