It looked like Durham was going to have too many infielders and not enough at-bats, but the injuries are depleting the depth.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (6-7)

Alex Colome had an uneven rehab appearance in Durham's 4-2 win over Charlotte. He struck out six in 3 1/3 innings, but he allowed a solo home run among his four hits and three walks. 47 of his 77 pitches were strikes. The Bulls got a solo home run from Eugenio Velez, and newcomer J.P. Arencibia delivered two RBIs with two hits.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (6-6)

Montgomery pitchers continued to baffle Mobile in the Biscuits 5-1 win over the BayBears. He was not as good as Jaime Schultz was on Monday, but Austin Pruitt was sharp, allowing just one run on five hits and two walks in seven innings with five strikeouts. Mobile conceded the first run of the game in the first inning, and Richie Shaffer and Tommy Coyle later added solo home runs.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (9-4)

Buddy Borden picked up the win against his old organization in Charlotte's 8-3 win over Bradenton. He allowed a run in three innings with three strikeouts in relief of a pedestrian Ryne Stanek, who allowed two runs on three hits and a walk in five innings with a strikeout. The Stone Crabs turned a close game into a comfortable win with a four-run ninth inning.  Maxx Tissenbaum and Marty Gantt drew bases loaded walks, and Yoel Araujo drove in two with a single.

Class A Bowling Green Hot Rods (5-7)

Bowling Green was postponed.
