Getting promoted did not slow down Blake Snell. His scoreless streak continues.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (13-10)

Durham used three home runs to top Pawtucket by a 5-1 score. Taylor Motter led off the game with his third homer of the season, and J.P. Arencibia's three-run shot in the sixth was the difference. Corey Brown's eighth-inning home run added insurance. Jim Patterson got the spot start and was solid, allowing a run on three hits and a walk in 3 2/3 innings with four strikeouts. Jhan Marinez got the win with three strikeouts in three scoreless innings.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (11-11)

Blake Snell was tremendous in his debut, and he was backed by a seven-run inning in Montgomery's 11-1 win. Snell struck out eight and allowed just one hit and a walk in six scoreless innings, and 63 of his 92 pitches were strikes. Mississippi did not score until the bullpen was summoned. In the third, the Biscuits ran out to a 7-0 lead. They were already up by two when Patrick Leonard and Johnny Field had back-to-back two-RBI hits. Justin O'Conner made two outs in the inning.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (15-7)

Jake McGee was back on the mound in Charlotte's 2-1 win over Fort Myers. He struck out one in a hitless inning but did walk two. Buddy Borden relieved him and pitched well, striking out three in four scoreless innings. The Stone Crabs got both of their runs in the fifth on Jake Bauers' fourth home run of the season.

Class A Bowling Green Hot Rods (13-9)

Bowling Green also used three home runs to earn a 6-1 win over Lansing. Casey Gillaspie and Justin Williams went back-to-back to start a three-run second inning, and Nick Ciuffo hit his first of the year two innings later. Henry Centeno was solid in six scoreless innings, and even though Edgar Gomez allowed the Lugnuts' run, he struck out seven in three innings of relief.
