Rays down on the farm June 10: Moore sees better results in second outing

The rehabbing lefty struck out four in four innings

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

If anyone was at the game or has information to share about Matt Moore, please do so.

Johnny Field, Jared Mortensen, Jaime Schultz and Blake Snell were named to the Southern League All-Star Game, which is being played in Montgomery on June 23.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (34-26)

Corey Brown's two home run game lifted Durham to a 7-4 win over Lehigh Valley. His three-run shot in the second inning gave the Bulls a 3-0 lead, and his two-run homer later in the game capped a four-run sixth inning. Scott Diamond was good, allowing an unearned run on five hits in seven innings, but Kirby Yates was tagged for three runs on four hits in one-third of an inning.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (27-30)

Montgomery was postponed.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (39-19)

Matt Moore's second rehab appearance was better in Charlotte's 11-5 win over Dunedin. Moore struck out four in four scoreless frames, scattering three hits and a walk. Taylor Guerrieri piggybacked Moore and was off to a nice start when he retired 10 of the first 11 batters he faced, but the wheels came off in the eighth when he faced five batters, all of whom reached base and would eventually score. The Stone Crabs initially blew the game open with a five-run fourth, and Yoel Araujo's two-run homer in the ninth added insurance.

Class A Bowling Green Hot Rods (33-25)

Bowling Green was off.
