Casey Gillaspie was out of Bowling Green's lineup Friday.

For precautionary reasons.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (40-34)

Durham was postponed.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (2-0)

Joey Rickard's eighth-inning home run lifted Montgomery to a 7-6 win over Chattanooga. Tommy Coyle's two-out single pulled the Biscuits within one before Rickard's three-run shot put them ahead by one. With two outs in the ninth, Parker Markel loaded the bases, but Justin O'Conner picked Adam Walker off first base to end the game. Starter Austin Pruitt allowed three runs -- two earned -- on six hits and a walk in six innings with five strikeouts.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (0-2)

Charlotte lost a 4-3 lead, and then it stopped scoring in its 5-4 loss to Fort Myers in 15 innings. Grady Sizemore's double in the seventh gave the Stone Crabs their first lead, but only five batters would reach base over the final eight innings. Josh Kimborowicz did not record an out in the 15th and issued a bases loaded walk to concede the win to the Miracle. Starter Steve Ascher allowed three runs in four innings, and Jace Conrad was 1-for-2 replacing Tim Beckham in his Charlotte debut.

Class A Bowling Green Hot Rods (1-1)

Bowling Green narrowly ended its eight-game losing streak with a 1-0 win over Dayton. Mac James singled with one out in the fifth, and back-to-back two-out singles from Grant Kay and Alec Sole brought him home for the only run of the game. Starter Greg Harris was outstanding, striking out nine and scattering just three hits and no walks over seven scoreless frames, and Edgar Gomez picked up where he left off, striking out three over two scoreless innings to end the game.

Short-Season Hudson Valley Renegades (4-4)

Hudson Valley's offense was quiet in its 3-1 loss to Vermont. The Renegades scored that run in the fourth when Michael Russell led off with a ground-rule double and came home on a two-out ground-rule double by Cade Gotta. The only baserunners they would get the rest of the game both came in the sixth when they had runners on the corners and no outs but could not capitalize. Starter Cameron Varga allowed two runs on six hits and two walks in 4 2/3 innings with three strikeouts.

Rookie Princeton Rays (3-1)

Princeton held on for a 6-3 win over Bristol. Zacrey Law led off the game with his second home run in as many days, and Brett Sullivan had a pair of hits as the Rays built a 6-1 lead entering the final half inning. Bristol scored twice with two outs, but Armando Bastardo came on to record the last out and end the game. Starter Brock Burke was good, allowing just one run on three hits in five innings with four strikeouts and no walks.

Rookie Gulf Coast League Rays (1-4)

The GCL Rays finally got in the win column by edging the GCL Orioles by a 2-1 score. Ty Morrison led off the second with a single and stole second before eventually scoring on an error. Later that inning, Anthony Cantillo's single made it a 2-0 lead. Starter Francisco Mena gave a run back in the bottom half of the inning, but he otherwise pitched well, allowing a run on three hits and two walks in four innings with four strikeouts.
