A pair of big innings cost the GCL Rays in their 11-1 loss to the GCL Twins. Orlando Romero allowed a first-inning grand slam and exited having allowed five runs -- four earned -- in 3 1/3 innings. The game was blown open in the sixth when the GCL Twins piled up six more runs, three off Herminio Germoso and three more off Matt LaVert, although none of those were earned. The GCL Rays got their only run on a wild pitch.
