After Matt Moore Saturday and Jacob Faria Sunday, the Rays got another double-digit strikeout outing Monday, this time from Jaime Schultz.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (64-66)

Durham was off.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (35-22)

Jaime Schultz struck out 10, and Montgomery held off Jackson in a 10-4 win. He walked four, but he limited the Generals to three hits in six scoreless innings. Dayron Varona's sacrifice fly in the first gave the Biscuits a 1-0 lead, and Tyler Goeddel doubled in a run and scored himself in the second. Already up 6-0, Montgomery tacked on four in the seventh, including getting a two-run triple from Tommy Coyle. Mark Sappington allowed four runs in the ninth.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (19-36)

Charlotte's offense woke up in its 8-5 win over St. Lucie. Mike Marjama's two-out single in the first ended the Stone Crabs' scoreless streak, and Willy Adames and Jace Conrad delivered RBI singles in the third. With the game tied at three, Charlotte tallied five runs in the seventh, the last coming on a sacrifice fly for the first out. Starter Buddy Borden allowed three runs -- one earned -- in 6 1/3 innings.

Class A Bowling Green Hot Rods (26-29)

Bowling Green's bats never showed up in their 4-0 loss to Great Lakes. All seven Hot Rods hits were singles, but none of them came with runners in scoring position. Yonny Chirinos allowed four runs -- three earned -- on nine hits in six innings with six strikeouts and no walks, and former Rays minor leaguer Jose Alberto Molina struck out four in three scoreless innings for the Loons.

Short-Season Hudson Valley Renegades (31-30)

Michael Velasquez pitched five very good innings in Hudson Valley's 4-2 win over Brooklyn. He did not get credited with the win, but he struck out five and scattered just four hits and a walk in five scoreless innings. After Cristopher Crisostomos allowed two runs in the bottom of the sixth to give the Cyclones a 2-1 lead, the Renegades stormed back with three in the seventh thanks to a double by Taylor Hawkins and Oscar Sanay's single. Brandon Koch struck out four in two innings.

Rookie Princeton Rays (33-27)

Princeton was blown out in a 9-1 loss to Burlington. Ethan Clark allowed three runs in each of the first two innings, and the rout was on. Only four were earned, and he only lasted two frames. Zacrey Law's solo home run accounted for Princeton's only run.

Rookie Gulf Coast League Rays (13-40)

The GCL Rays' pitching staff shut down the GCL Twins in a 2-0 win in game one of their planned doubleheader. After a 1-2-3 first for Reign Letkeman, Garrett Whitley doubled home the first run of the game in the bottom half of the inning. Letkeman had no problems with the GCL Twins lineup and finished with four strikeouts in five innings before Sam Triece struck out five over the final two.

Casey Gillaspie was 0-for-2 in his rehab appearance.

Game two of the doubleheader was suspended.
