Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (0-1)

Montgomery was postponed.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (4-0)

Charlotte moved within one game of its first championship with a 6-1 win over Daytona in Game 2. Once again, the Tortugas were baffled by a Stone Crabs starter, this time Buddy Borden. He retired the first nine in order before allowing Daytona's lone run in the fourth, but he settled back in immediately and faced the minimum over the rest of his outing. He struck out eight and scattered just two hits and a walk in seven innings.

The Stone Crabs went up 3-0 in the second with three unearned runs thanks to two errors. An inning later, Pat Blair drove in a run with a single, and he added two insurance runs with a double in the seventh.
