Is there any way possible to do a possible sign and trade? Negotiate a deal with Desmond-get someone with a lower draft pick to sign him and then trade him to the Rays. Obviously then compensate the team with money and a > 15 prospect for their trouble? If it works out Desmond gives us exceptional depth for an AL East run, if it doesnt happen we trade him for a similar prospect in what we lost here in Feb/March...
