A trade may be imminent!!

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

This Date in Team History!

In 1981, Seth McClung is born. He would be a four time top ten prospect in the Rays organization and cracked MLB's top 100 following 2004. Unfortunately, the big righty dealt with injuries and very poor control throughout his time with the Rays organization, and although he occasionally flashed signs of dominance, he would be traded at the deadline in 2007 for a pitcher who would provide Tampa Bay with much more value, Grant Balfour.

No highlights of McClung for the Rays, but here he is for the Brewers
