Tampa Bay Rays news and links: Chris Archer to start on opening day

And the Cuba roster will be announced today.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Rays lost 5-0 to the Braves yesterday, but Jaff Decker did have another nice play in the outfield, robbing former-Ray Reid Brignac of a home run.

He did also drop a ball in the third inning though, that eventually led to a Braves run.

Kevin Cash announced that Chris Archer would be the opening day starter. Mark Topkin has quotes. You can hear Archer talk about it himself, courtesy of Steve Kinsella of Sports Talk Florida:

And here's Kevin Cash on the same.
