Matt Moore was given two leads his last time out against the Yankees and he blew them both as he allowed a tying homer to Brian McCann, and then also allowed a game-tying steal of home to Jacoby Ellsbury later in the game. When it was all said and done, he had been charged with four runs over six and two-thirds innings pitched, while he struck out five and walked two.
Chris Tillman Scouting Report:
Every time the Rays lock into a series against the Orioles, it always seems to during Tillman's turn in the rotation as he'll face them already for the second time this year. He opened the 2016 season by striking out five batters in just two innings before a rain delay ended his night prematurely. His next time out would be against the Rays and he allowed a run on four hits over five innings.
Since then, Tillman has made two starts -- one awful and one that was somewhat decent -- as he gave up six runs in the first outing and then just two runs during the second one which came against the Blue Jays on the 21st.
