"INSIDE THE RAYS: TRIP TO CUBA" special forthcoming on Fox Sports

On Saturday, April 30 at 5 p.m., FOX Sports Sun, the statewide television home of the Tampa Bay Rays, will debut an all-new episode of "Inside the Rays" centered around the team's recent visit to Cuba. The premiere episode, which airs before the Rays LIVE pregame show on Saturday, features exclusive, never-before-seen footage and access to the Rays as our film crew was embedded with the team throughout their historic trip.

From the long ties between Havana and Tampa Bay that stretch over decades, to experiencing outfielder Dayron Varona's emotional return to his homeland, "Inside the Rays: Trip to Cuba" is a must-watch show that documents Tampa Bay becoming the first Major League Baseball team since 1999 to play on Cuban soil. Interviews on the show include: Rays Manager Kevin Cash, Tampa Bay High School coaching icon Frank Permuy, Pinellas County Historical Society Past President Jim Schnur and Rays teammates Danny Farquhar, Logan Forsythe, Evan Longoria, Chris Archer, Varona and others.
