Homeruns plagued Drew Smyly once again during his last start as he surrendered two of them to the Miami Marlins, delivering six innings and allowing five runs on six hits. He also struck out four and walked a batter. Homeruns just continue to be an issue for Smyly as he has either allowed two homers or more, or hasn't given up any during his starts.
Dillon Gee Scouting Report:
The Royals moved Gee to the starting rotation a couple of weeks ago and he's been...not terrible, but not too great either for the 2015 champs. He did suffer a rough outing his last time out on the 25th against the Twins where he allowed six runs on 10 hits -- three homeruns -- while he struck out six and walked one over four innings of work resulting in his second loss of the season.
