However, Ryan Webb gave up the lone run in the bottom of the eighth in his first loss with the Bulls. The Bulls managed only two singles, coming from Daniel Robertson and Luke Maile.
Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (33-36)
Jacob Faria earned his sixth loss of the season with the Biscuits falling by a 4-2 deficit to the Chattanooga Lookouts. Faria allowed three runs in five innings of work, but he also struck out seven. Jordan Harrison also allowed a run in one inning of relief. Mike Marjama hit a solo home run in the third, and Jake Bauers had a sacrifice fly in the subsequent inning to provide Montgomery's offense.

Diego Castillo and Armando Bastardo turned in scoreless outings out of the bullpen.
Short-Season Hudson Valley Renegades (1-1)

Eduar Lopez limited the IronBirds to two runs in five innings, but Garrett Fulenchek allowed the deciding run in the sixth, taking his first loss of the year. Noel Rodriguez inherited two runners from Fulenchek, but kept them from scoring, posting 3 1/3 shutout innings. The Renegades scored both of their runs on throwing errors.
