Archer is slowly turning his season around, as he is rebounding from an absolutely dreadful start to the season. Over his last five starts, Archer has an ERA of 3.74 with a very similar FIP, however he is 1-4 over that time frame as the offense has decided to slumber during his outings as of late. His last time out was on the 17th against the Giants where Archer lasted six innings, allowing four runs -- three earned -- on six hits, while he walked three and struck out seven.
Trevor Bauer Scouting Report:
Bauer has been excellent for Cleveland since being moved back into the starting rotation at the end of April. He has been particularly great since his May 10th start as he has a 2.82 ERA over eight starts during that span of time. He stymied the White Sox his last time out on the 17th as he delivered seven innings, allowing a sole run on four hits, walking three and striking out nine, but he would pick up a no-decision for his efforts.
