Jake Odorizzi may be on the brink of turning his season around as he avoided walking a hitter for the just his second start of the season. Odorizzi held the Giants to just a lone run on four hits, while he walked no one and struck out eight over six innings pitched, but came away with a no-decision.
Chris Tillman Scouting Report:
Chris Tillman is overcoming a poor 2015 showing by being excellent so far in 2016, however, it may just be a case of good luck as he has produced an ERA that is close to a full point below his FIP. Tillman's last start seen him tie his shortest outing of the year -- that was not interrupted by the weather -- as he lasted just five innings against the Blue Jays, yielding four runs on five hits -- two homers -- while he didn't walk a batter, but also struck out four as he picked up his 10th victory of the season.
